
David Chodirker
Medical Doctor and Partner
Dr. Chodirker founded Wellesley Family Care Associates in 1997. His clinical interests include comprehensive pediatric and adult primary care, preventive care and travel medicine. He holds a certificate from the International Society of Travel Medicine (ISTM) and offers full travel medicine consultation for WFCA patients.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Chodirker enjoys teaching medical students the art and science of family medicine. He is an assistant clinical professor at Tufts University School of Medicine Department of Public Health and Family Medicine and a member of the department of family medicine at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. Dr. Chodirker is a member of the ISTM and the American Academy of Family Physicians. Boston Magazine first named Dr. Chodirker a “Top Doctor” in family medicine in 2006 and has bestowed this honor multiple times ever since.
Dr. Chodirker attended University College at the University of Toronto, where he graduated with honors and completed his medical degree at the University of Toronto Medical School. After completing his internship, he worked, studied and traveled in Israel and the Far East. Dr. Chodirker completed his residency in family medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto and then settled in the Boston area.
