John Wolfert brings more than 14 years of clinical experience, including a long career in urgent care with Mass General Brigham, where he developed a strong foundation in acute medicine and chronic disease management. John earned his Master’ in Physician Assistant Studies through the U.S. Air Force, sponsored by the University of Nebraska. He was commissioned as a Captain in the United States Air Force and served 14 years on active duty, including a year as Chief Medical Officer at a Forward Operating Base in Afghanistan. His professional interests include preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and patient education. Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with family, exploring the outdoors, and pursuing creative writing projects.
