Frequently Asked Questions

Does it hurt?

Most patients describe Botox® as a quick pinch — the needles used are very fine and the treatment is over in minutes. Dermal fillers may cause a bit more sensation, but we use topical numbing cream to keep you comfortable throughout.

How long does it take?

Most appointments are completed between 30 and 60 mins. We recommend setting aside a little extra time for your first visit so we can go through your goals and medical history thoroughly.

When will I see results?

Botox® results typically appear within 3–5 days and reach full effect around 2 weeks. Dermal fillers show results immediately, with any minor swelling settling within a few days.

How long do results last?

Botox® generally lasts 3–4 months. Dermal fillers can last anywhere from 6–18 months depending on the product used and the area treated. We’ll discuss what to expect at your consultation.

Will I look natural?

Yes — this is our priority. Our goal is never an overdone or “frozen” look. We take a conservative, less-is-more approach and can always add more at a follow-up if needed.

Can I come in during my lunch break?

For Botox®, yes. We do recommend avoiding strenuous exercise and alcohol for 24 hours after treatment. Fillers may cause some temporary swelling, so timing around a big event is worth discussing with your provider.

What if I have questions after my appointment?
